Many of you in our Gentle Parenting group know I’m expecting (a little boy!) at the end of this month, but I don’t talk about it too much within the group and there’s been such an increase in membership recently I figured I should mention something about it!
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve taken a bit of a backseat in replying to many posts in the Facebook group. I’ve slowed down on writing new blog posts. This is not intentional! I’ve been a bit… preoccupied…and uncomfortable, haha.
Much of my responding to questions, posting, and writing is done in the evenings, and I’ve been fortunate enough (this is sarcasm) to have developed restless legs and leg cramping in the evenings and lasting much through the night. I have not been able to concentrate on much during these hours for the past few months now. However, I really hate complaining because in comparison to my first pregnancy this one has definitely been a breeze.
Despite generally feeling good, I haven’t been as active in the group and I anticipate that this will continue for the next several weeks.
My fellow administrators in the group have been and continue to be amazing assets to the Gentle Parenting of WNY community, and if you’re not sure who exactly they are, you can click on Members in the Gentle Parenting of WNY group page, then Admins. All admins have backgrounds in school psychology, education, and/or early child development and offer phenomenal advice!
Along with growing a baby, I’ve also been working on a few other projects that I’ll be excited to announce in the coming days! Yay!
If you’d like to be one of the first to hear these upcoming exciting announcements, join the mailing list! (You’ll also get a free gift – the updated ‘I am a Gentle Parent’ mantra!)
